"Flugtende fortællinger" (Fleeing Stories) is a series of evenings with storytelling in Aarhus and on Mols. With themes like "Adventures in East and West" and "Towards a Home" both professional storytellers and participants will listen, share and tell anecdotes and stories, both short and long, from their own lives.
Every evening takes place at a location which fits the theme - e.g. Dome of Visions, Restaurant Mogador and in private homes.
The evenings are primarily in Danish, or with a translator, when we have guests who are still learning Danish.
“Flugtende Fortællinger” (Fleeing Stories) seeks to counteract alienation by creating an informal space where people from different social groups, cultures and generations can meet and share exciting and engaging stories.
“Flugtende Fortællinger” is arranged by Nemo V. Hensing and Mads Holm, and the storyteller line-up is partly an extension of Secret Hotel's cross-cultural performance “A WAY”.
