In the Field
How do we relate to our surroundings; to place, space and time – in different landscapes and cultures? In the Field is a performance lecture about our views on the role of humans in the world - in our own culture and in the Tuvinian. Performer Christine Fentz serves tea and thought-provoking questions as a hostess for her guests. She tells about the Siberian republic Tuvas open landscapes with nomads and shamans, where everything is spirited, and there are sheep and goats everywhere. She tells about her childhood of Danish fields near Viborg, and about the frequent changes in location and roles of adulthood. With words, pictures, sound, taste and smell, she creates a space for reflection - a space for participation and sensing.
”In the Field is a captivating cross-over between lecture and performance. A fine performance about time and space for all the senses – and for the intellect! […] The performance lecture engages and activates the audience in a simple yet entirely convincing way. An atmospheric opening of everyday life.”

TEATERFESTIVAL 10 – ESBJERG – GÆSTEBOGEN
”It was therapie. It felt really nice and it was comfortable to have some tea. There were some sounds and we had to close our eyes. Some sound really frightend me! My dream would be to have a new home. I got many thoughts from Christine… ”
